Where are you from?
I’m originally from a small town in the Black Hills of South Dakota, but I’ve called Las Vegas home for the past 25 years. The desert, the mountains, and the sense of possibility here have shaped who I am.

What inspired you to choose this career path?
I’ve always been drawn to structure, and solving problems that make people’s work lives easier. Accounting, and compliance became the perfect blend of logic, responsibility, and service — a place where the details truly matter and where good systems can transform a team’s day‑to‑day experience.

What excites you most about the work Sol is doing in the geospatial and aerial survey world?
Sol is pushing boundaries in an industry that’s rapidly evolving. The precision, the technology, the ability to capture data that shapes real‑world decisions — it’s inspiring. Being part of a team that values accuracy, safety, and innovation makes the work feel meaningful every single day.

How do you think Sol sets itself apart from other aviation companies?
Sol stands out because we don’t just fly — we operate with intention. Safety isn’t a slogan; it’s a discipline. Integrity isn’t a tagline; it’s how decisions get made. And the little things truly matter here, from how we prepare for a mission to how we support our clients afterward. That level of care is rare in aviation, and it shows.

Which of Sol’s core values resonates most with you, and why?
“The Little Things Matter” resonates with me the most. My entire career has been built on the belief that details create trust, consistency, and excellence. When a company values the small things, the big things naturally fall into place.

Is there something you cannot live without?
My family. They’re my grounding force, my motivation, and the reason I show up with purpose every day. I hope my example of work ethic will reflect in their careers.

What are the first three things on your bucket list?
1. Visit all the National Park while living in a camper van.
2. Take a trip through Europe with my family.
3. Build a creative studio space where I can craft, and make things for my friends and family.

What or who is your inspiration?
I’m inspired by people who build with integrity — leaders who do the right thing even when no one is watching, and creators who pour heart into their craft. That combination of character and creativity fuels me.

Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
Absolutely. I love rock-hounding, making things with my Laser cutting machine, crochet, and paper crafting — anything that lets me create something with my hands. Crafting is my reset button.

Do you have any nicknames?
Most people call me Jen. Only my family or friends from South Dakota call me Jenny.
