The opportunity to travel and experience different parts of the country is what I enjoy most about my role.

What are the first three things on your bucket list?
Travel to Iceland, Greece, and Japan.

What are your future ambitions?
To fly in the left seat of a large aircraft.

What inspired you to choose this career path?
After exploring several career options, I realized that flying was the most enjoyable, which ultimately led me to pursue a career in aviation.

What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
I enjoy exploring the city I’m currently in, discovering local attractions and trying different foods.

What excites you about our work?
The unpredictability of each assignment and the excitement of going to new destinations always keeps the work engaging.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED PILOTS
Join Our Team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • FAA Commercial Multi-Engine
  • FAA Instrument Rating (Current and proficient)
  • High Performance Endorsement
  • Complex Endorsement
  • First Class or Second Class Medical
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Current passport with at least six-months of validity remaining at time of employment.
  • Legal right to work in the United States
  • Must be able to travel freely within the United States and without restriction to all countries Sol Aerial Survey serves
  • 450 Total Time in an Aircraft
  • 80 hours of MEL at time of hire (This is an insurance requirement and cannot be waived)
  • FCC Radio License
  • Multi Engine Night Current and proficient at time of hire
WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Fly planes located anywhere in the lower 48 or Canada
  • Operate Multi-Engine Aircraft Single Pilot
  • Manage the aircrafts movements and airports cross country
  • Maintain a clean internal and external aircraft
  • Complete daily forms about aircraft and plane condition
  • Work with Flight Operations and in house Maintenance team on decision making
  • Work with maintenance facilities throughout the country to maintain a safe aircraft
  • Work above 8,000’ AGL Including Class A
  • Flights as long as 8 hours over large metropolitan areas
  • Navigate high traffic airspaces, restricted and prohibited airspace and the SFRA
  • Eat lots of Chipotle (Probably)
