Where are you from?
Manila Philippines

What inspired you to choose this career path?
I have been a multimedia artist for over 10 years. After a brief hiatus during the pandemic, I am thrilled to be back in the industry. I truly feel at home with photography and design, and returning to this creative path has been incredibly rewarding.

What excites you most about the work Sol is doing in the geospatial and aerial survey world?
There is much to learn regarding aerial surveys and the technical side of aviation. Fun fact: my first choice in college was actually Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Aeronautical Engineering. Working here feels like a “dream come true” moment; even though I’m behind the editing desk rather than under a wing, being surrounded by aircraft and aerial scenery brings my interests full circle.

How do you think Sol sets itself apart from other aviation companies?
Sol stands out because we don’t just collect data; we make it look incredible. While other companies are buried in spreadsheets, we focus on high-level precision and visual storytelling to make aerial surveying actually look as cool as the tech behind it.Plus, on a personal note, many places are moving toward drones but there’s just something about a manned aircraft that feels more ‘legit.’ Drones are cool, but flying a real plane just feels a bit more manly, doesn’t it? Just kidding 🙂

Which of Sol’s core values resonates most with you, and why?
The Little Things Matter. My editing work focuses on the details. Whether it’s an aerial survey or a digital design, the small details create the best results. I focus on the small parts because they perfect the big picture.

Is there something you can not live without?
Definitely coffee!

What are the first three things on your bucket list?
1. Travel to Japan to explore the culture and scenery.
2. Take my bike to a race track and compete.
3. Own a sports car here in the Philippines. It’s a real challenge to get one here especially with ‘clean money’ and all the government red tape! Just kidding hahaha

What or who is your inspiration?
My parents. I am driven by the desire to give back to them and provide them with experiences and comforts they haven’t had the chance to enjoy yet.

Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
Building my race bike, photography, and playing League of Legends.

Do you have any nicknames?
Woods.
